Resorts
Covering 81,281 m², and a 15-minute drive from the centre of Almaty, a modern gondola road was built from the Medeu skating rink to the ski resort. New lifts were installed on the slope and tracks were expanded and redesigned. Within the resort, a rental building was opened with comfortable luggage rooms, cafes and restaurants.
Developed before the 2011 Asian Games, this is a reconstruction of the Shymbulak mountain resort (2260 metres above sea level).
